Each year Over 20,000 cases are being treated at the Veterinary hospital!

The VTH is the only teaching hospital in Israel.

The hospital offers the highest level of veterinary care to small and large pets, including an emergency and intensive care unit, veterinary specialists in all fields of veterinary medicine, hospitalization, a laboratory and advanced equipment.

Over 70 veterinarians work at the hospital, more than 30 of which are specialists, with specialty clinics in the following disciplines:

         Small animal emergency and critical case

         Small animal internal medicine

         Small animal surgery

         Equine surgery

         Equine internal medicine

         Anesthesia and analgesia

         Imaging

         Ophtamology (diseases of the eye)

         Oncology (cancer)

         Neurology (diseases of the nervous system)

         Dermatology (skin diseases)

         Cardiology (heart disease)

         Dentistry and mouth and jaw surgery

         Theriogenology

The hospital located in the agriculture center near the Israeli veterinary services and the ministry of agriculture.

The hospital has five primary goals:

To train a new generation of veterinarians

To provide the highest level of modern veterinary care

To be a referral center for cases requiring special care or specialist care

To provide continuing education to veterinarians

To provide emergency and critical care services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
